An antidote to the
infinite scroll
Nonograms — also called picross or griddlers — are Japanese logic puzzles. Number clues describe rows and columns; you reason your way to a hidden picture. Pure deduction, no guessing.

Sustained focus, logical reasoning, pattern recognition. The kind of attention that scrolling slowly erodes — picross asks you to rebuild it, one solved cell at a time.

About nonograms
What is a nonogram?
A nonogram is a Japanese logic puzzle. The number clues along the top and side of a grid describe the lengths of filled-cell runs in each column and row. You reason out which cells must be filled — no guessing required. They are also called picross, griddlers, or hanjie.
How do I solve a nonogram?
Start with the rows or columns whose clues sum to nearly the line width — overlap reveals guaranteed cells. Mark known-empty cells with an X. Cross-reference rows and columns. The line-by-line method is a calm, deduction-only path to the solution.
